Registered Manager – Manor Community –  Starting salary £42,000 per annum

The role:

Client focused, compassionate and caring, as a Registered Manager, you’ll take pride in your work to a high standard and carry out our values and work ethics on a day-to-day basis. Caring for those with learning disabilities and mental health conditions, you’ll ensure the effective running of the residences, leading your care team successfully and maintaining the highest standards of care and support.

What you’ll be doing:

1.      Managing a team of 18 care and support workers.

2.      Applying previous mental health and learning disability management care experience

3.      Set and maintain standards with strong principles, bringing the homes together

4.      Developing and further training your team to achieve their potential, in a way that is effective and responsive to each customers needs and in line with the Manor Community values

5.      Support each customer to live their life the way that they choose as far as they are able

6.      Partner with customers, or their chosen representatives to provide an assessment of what the customer needs and what they would like to achieve from their care and support, together with a risk assessment

7.      Create and agree a written individually tailored plan of care and support that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy

8.      Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks. Keep care and support plans up to date, secure and up to date

9.      Provide the customer and where appropriate their representatives with information about the service so that they are clear about what to expect and how they can raise any concerns

 

·      Are you an established Deputy Manager who wants the chance to move into a Managerial role?

What you’ll bring:

1.      Experience in managerial roles and confident with the tasks involved.

2.      Able to work independently and in a team, with the ability to manage self-development

3.      Experience in management within health and social care is essential.

4.      Mental Health and learning disability experience.

5.      Hold NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care and be able to hold or work towards the registration as required by CQC.

6.      Clear and confident communication skills.

7.      A full UK driving licence is essential, but having your own vehicle is not applicable as a company car can be provided.

8.      Clean full UK driving licence

9.      A valid date Enhanced DBS on the update service

As a precondition of this role, you must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
